Availabilit-e is a unique tool which enables and enpowers holiday accommodation providers to accept credit and debit card payments on their own website (don't have your own website? click here) with the minimum of fuss and technical knowledge.
How it works
Once your account has been authorised, you will receive your username and password for logging into the Availabilit-e administration area and a line of code which once inserted into your webpage, enables the Availabilit-e pop up window to appear once clicked.
What it costs
It is absolutely FREE to enable an Availabilit-e account on your website. If we take an online booking on your behalf, we take 10% of the booking fee as a commission.
Compare the Availabilit-e system with traditional booking agents:
A traditional booking agent also takes ONLY a deposit and leaves it up to the accommodation provider to chase up the balance (or will do the follow up for an even higher commission) - With Availabilit-e we process the WHOLE amount, and pay you direct into your bank account on a monthly basis - No hassle, no fuss.
Where's the small print?
To be honest, we don't really have any! We are very up front over our charges and our system. You can download a copy of our accommodation provider terms and conditions here.
Things to remember about the Availabilit-e system:
- It is up to you to keep your Availabilit-e dates and rates as current and up to date as possible.
- Remember your rates are live online 24 hours per day 7 days per week - and are available for anyone, anywhere to book. If you take a booking for a period by another means (telephone, letter, word of mouth, etc.) - Please remove it from the Availabilit-e database as soon as possible.
- You provide the booker of the accommodation with all of the standard back up you would normally provide - Instructions on getting to the accommodation, your own terms and conditions, perhaps a welcome pack including the aforementioned and perhaps a printed brochure / leaflet.
- The booking once made through Availabilit-e is a binding contract between YOU and the BOOKER. Availabilit-e is simply an agent FACILITATING the booking, and as such can play no part in refunds, cancellations, etc. You are advised to be clear over your terms of business anywhere you provide the Availabilit-e interface.
